WRAP gave our community a way to write down what we're like when we're well and what helps, and early versions of T-MAPs drew on it. Over twenty years we took it somewhere different. WRAP is built around managing an illness. T-MAPs starts with a person's values and vision for their life, treats warning signs as signals to get curious about, is written and practiced with the people who will show up, and includes the family, social, and political conditions that shape mental health. Many people use both.
